Very nice model (STL File), but while I'm sure the designer deserves a good payment, the price of $10 USD for the file, then the cost of printing it (time and material) for what is most likely to be only one needed will keep me from buying it.

It seems to me that one would price one's work on the basis of the buyer's need…you want to print a couple of dozen T-34 tanks, then a higher price than if you only need one.

Regardless, a very nice model.

Blockhouse

Solid log blockhouses like this served as the primary defense in small towns in early America. Heavy construction and few, small openings made these structures very difficult to attack by enemies with no heavy weapons.

The roof and upper floor can be either permanently attached, or left loose to allow placing figures inside. This building is printed in several pieces, and designed for a print bed of 200mm x 140mm or larger.

Editorial Note: The announcement says PDF, but I believe they mean STL files.
