Wargamer's Map of Borodino Available

Richard D Watts writes:

The image shown here is a zoomed in – very zoomed in – miniscule part of the map which covers a huge area, so it looks a lot better when you see the whole thing in context. Besides if it were too cluttered or 'pretty' it would obscure the details – and this map is supposed to be, for example, an aid to setting up a wargames table, not a work of art to adorn a wall in a nice period frame!

The image at Wargames Vault has now been changed so you can see the true extent of the map rather than just the small snapshot shown here.

Wargame Vault announces the availability of:

Wargamer's Map of Borodino

Wargamer's Map of Borodino

Publisher: Agema

This is a wargamer's map of the Battle of Borodino, showing the main features and overlaid with squares. It's ideal for a mini-wargame campaign of the battle, or to use as a guide to laying out the entire battlefield on the tabletop using smaller scale figures.

Borodino was a huge battle in real life, and tends to be something of a bloodbath and battle of attrition in wargames!

This map has been employed by Agema to recreate the battle with several players per side using our Napoleonic Battles system, but is offered here as a stand-alone map so it can be used however you like!

Price: $0.80 USD
