We've received the following press release from Amazon Miniatures:

Amazon Miniatures have taken over Sabre Miniatures, who produce the former QT 25mm range. Amazon Miniatures is a new venture owned by Paul Ashton and Andy Mullington, who are investing in new ranges and new technology to ensure good customer service.

Amazon Miniatures already have a web-site which lists the complete catalogue. The site includes many of the original design illustrations and new photographs of many miniatures. More are being added during each update.

The QT range is popular for its multi-part figure design, separate heads, bodies and weapons which allows gamers to have variety of design and pose and even create their own combinations. The miniatures are in fact 'oversized' 25mm (28mm) fitting in well with other popular ranges available today. The catalogue lists over 1000 miniatures but now that the Internet site also lists each individual component, customers can now choose their own combination of parts.

The historical miniatures range from Biblical through to English Civil War and American Civil War and includes the much sought after Ch'in army. Fantasy ranges include Renaissance Dwarves, Centaurs and various Role Play models. Amazon Miniatures is commissioning new models to increase the ranges offered and add even more variety to existing ranges.

"The reaction to the reappearance of the old QT range has been great. Old customers are really enthusiastic and it seems that there are a lot of people out there that have heard of the QT Multipart system but did not know how to get them" said Paul Ashton.
