At last, the 2nd Edition of Conquerors and Kings (CK) are here. We want to sell you a set – £25.00 GBP for the full print version and £12.00 GBP for the PDF version. Brookhurst Hobbies will get the print versions soon for U.S. customers.

Conquerors & Kings

The usual RFCM team have worked on these rules for two years. Two of the team have been commercially publishing rules for nigh on 50 years. A lot of experience.

CK is a complete set of rules. By this is meant that CK has rules for setting up the scenery, deciding who is the defender and attacker, a full points system, scenario generator, and victory decision mechanism. Both players get a full role in the game. No more turning up to a game that has already has the scenery laid out, armies chosen, and battle plan dictated.

Conquerors & Kings armies after lates

As in the 1998 Edition of CK, the game is Peter Pig gridded. This allows bold and simple play. A PP hallmark. The dice used are all normal 1 to 6 ones, too.

Even more, the army book is free to download from the PP website, along with a free-to-download playsheet and battlesheet. One player can buy the rules, and the others just download the sheets.

Conquerors & Kings complete Roman army

A CK game last about 2.5 hours from "let me show you my latest painted unit" to "well done, good game".

CK encourages players to have a plan. No flurry of randoms.

This is a good time to publicly thank the playtesters, thanks.

We have also created a whole set of videos to show players what the "story" is, too.
