Good question Joe. Thanks.

Up until Peter Pig , dice makers put the symbol on the 1 because it was a single symbol replacing a single spot. If the symbol was fairly small it might even look like the spot.

What peter Pig did was to note that 6 is usually a good score in games. Therefore we wanted the piggy to be associated with good news. This gives "Oh goody a pig".

In non wargaming environs, special D6 still have any symbol on the 1.
This is another PP first.

Back in 2003, Peter Pig introduced the Symbol on the Six Face to wargaming. Since then, every one has adopted that too. When we went around the dice makers, they all insisted that they could only change the "1" face. We persisted and changed the "face" (pun intended) of gaming.

We have now received our latest stock and can offer eleven colors. That is a lot.

The dice are 16mm, come in packs of twelve, and cost £6.00 GBP. They do look nice in games.

Thanks!
