The boardgame of the 1460 Battle of Northampton during the Wars of the Roses that I designed for the Northamptonshire Battlefields Society has now sold out in hardcopy. The society will not be reprinting the game, but has decided instead to release it as a PDF download from Wargame Vault. This will be available at the bargain price of £5.00 GBP.

N1460

The game is quick-to-learn-and-play. It was written for use at wargames shows as a participation game to introduce people to the battle and tell the story of what happened. Players take turns to choose from historical or historically plausible alternative actions for their units/characters in order to achieve a better outcome than that which happened at the time.

All proceeds go towards the protection of battlefields in Northamptonshire and our associated education program.
