Reader Steve Weidner has spotted more $1 terrain deals. This is his report:

Well, here they are, five castles that are available from K's Collection at Dollar Tree stores. The sticker on the bottom says:

K's Collection
Dollar Tree Dist.
Chesapeake, VA 23320
0SSL2 #986539
Made in China

There is felt on the bottom. I took pictures of them all with a yardstick, so folks could have the best idea of their size.

Observations

The castle on the left above has no gate or visible means of entrance from the ground. However, it has plenty of space so added models can watch for advancing hordes. The one on the right has a nice winding path all the way around to the back.

The left castle in this picture spoke to me as being a perfect residence for little green men with speech impediments, while the right one in the same pic has no outside doors whatsoever.

The castle in the final picture seems to be terribly useful for any games involving weapons of mass destruction; the tops of all of the walls have taken serious damage, and one section of roof is completely gone exposing the hall beneath. In addition, there's no surrounding vegetation to match to anything, so it could just go on any hill.

All of these castles come painted to a standard that is more than passable for 6mm gaming, and there were at least three more that I saw that I didn't pick up. I plan on passing these along to my friends who play Epic 40k, though they look like they'd be wonderful for fantasy 6mm. I've already had one Epic player look at these with a lusting eye and ask where I'd found them!

Note: According to Steve, all of the castles have the same product number - 0SSL2 #986539.
