From time to time, Gringo40s features painted figures of our most recent releases… an example is 28mm Jack Coffee Hayes… in action… fearless leader of Texas Rangers… Fast forward to 1840, Hayes was appointed a captain of the Rangers. He proved himself to be a fearless fighter and a good leader of men. His Ranger companies, often mixed groups of Anglos, Hispanics and Indians, engaged in battles and skirmishes with both the Comanches and other Indian tribes, as well as Mexican troops, throughout the early years of the 1840s. The figure represents just one of our 28mm Texas Rangers… the first of many to come… some already released!
