Well, I have way too many Comanches, so if I want to defend San Antonio properly, I need to get a bunch more Rangers. I just got to sell more blood…

Them dudes are pretty well armed. It reminds me of the story of that consummate diplomat Kaiser Bill touring Switzerland. He was surveying the border defenses. How can you turn down the Kaiser? Well, maybe because he's not that bright…
KB asked the Marshall of Switzerland how good his troops were.
"We, we got a million soldiers to man the defenses."
"What if I attack with two million?"
"We will just have to shoot twice."

Like I said, I'm glad the Rangers are so well armed. 🙄 Ya know… Comanches.

From time to time, Gringo40s features painted figures of our most recent releases… an example is 28mm Jack Coffee Hayes… in action… fearless leader of Texas Rangers… Fast forward to 1840, Hayes was appointed a captain of the Rangers. He proved himself to be a fearless fighter and a good leader of men. His Ranger companies, often mixed groups of Anglos, Hispanics and Indians, engaged in battles and skirmishes with both the Comanches and other Indian tribes, as well as Mexican troops, throughout the early years of the 1840s. The figure represents just one of our 28mm Texas Rangers… the first of many to come… some already released!
