Saxon Garde du Corps, Grande Armée 1812

Saxon Garde du Corps – Grande Armee 1812

Publisher: Walkerloo Toy Soldiers

Made famous by their involvement in the charges against the Great Redoubt at Borodino, the Saxon Garde Du Corps were an elite German cuirassier regiment who'd mislayed their cuirasses in the baggage train… they were reported to have worn their blanket rolls about the body for protection. Alas, very few returned home after the 1812 campaign, and they weren't reformed until after Napoleon was finally defeated.

The model has six mounted figures, can have white or black surrounds, and there is a detailed 'earth' sheet for figure bases. The PDF sheets include the mirror reflections and fold lines to enable easy construction.

Price: $2.95 USD
