She was 90% complete when Wilmington fell to Union forces. Her role, if completed, would have been to engage unarmored vessels of the Union blockading squadron, maintaining access for blockade runners to reach safe harbor.
The model is scaled to 1:600, and prints well at 1:1200 on a resin printer.
