We've just released six new 28mm figures which I sculpted digitally. These are 28mm integral-base figures that match my old product line, and they are re-sized versions of the first six 32mm slotta-base items in the Gunfighter's Ball range. The next project is to do mounted versions of these using the digital horse I've created, the wounded versions of the same.
These aren't the first we have offered that were created using computer-based sculpting. OW28-310 Wagon Riders was sculpted digitally, as were several small terrain accessories (the piano, for instance).
Late last year, I invested in a commercial-grade 3D printer, which is what is used to print out the "green" for mastering. This takes the quality level far beyond what is possible through Shapeways or with machines like the Form1.
