To the Strongest! Tournaments and Events
  • 7th September – The Mancetter 61 CE display game will be at Colours, on Newbury Racecourse. This will be the penultimate outing for Mancetter, which is a really enjoyable game. I'm very keen to sign up players in advance – in particular, some seasoned veterans to lead each side in the AM and PM games. Please email me, ASAP, if you think you can make it! I may, even, have a couple of entry passes available. Andrew, Ian and I will be in town the night before, if you fancy a beer!
  • 15th September – "Knight Fever" at the London GT – 130-point TtS! competition. There is still just enough time to sign up for this medieval-themed event at what must be the largest gaming tournament in the world. I will be bringing my Condottieri – fourth at Chalgrove, second at Roll Call – the omens are good!
  • 21/22nd September – Dave Soutar and Glasgow and District Wargaming Society are hosting a 130-point TtS! competition in Glasgow. This is turning into a large event, with 18 entries so far. At the moment, it appears that I, alone, represent the honor (such as it is) of England. If you'd like to join us, please mail me.
  • 20th October – The final outing of Mancetter 61 CE at SELWG, Crystal Palace, which is always a friendly show and my last of the year. Again, I'm very keen to attract some seasoned players, at least one for each side in the AM and PM games. Please mail me if you'll be about!

Alas, I won't now be going to Crisis in Antwerp, due to my concerns about travel so soon after the likely Brexit date.
