As promised, I have just lowered the prices of all the Mirliton 15mm ranges by between 3% and 5%, including packs like this one from the new The Empire & Italy range:
The price change has also been applied to some packs in the 20mm WWII range.
This is one of the advantages of no longer being registered for VAT, although it has to be said the current strength of Sterling against the Euro also played a part.
Wider price changes are unlikely for some time, due to the complexity of the pricing structure. Mirliton's 15mm ranges only use six price codes, whilst the 28mm ranges use dozens.
I will try and hold these prices for as long as possible, but Sterling needs to stay strong and the Italian VAT rate (which I now pay on all stock purchases) needs to remain at 22%. The latter is uncertain: Italian VAT will rise to 24% in 2016, if the country doesn't reach its debt reduction targets.
