I agree with Toshach. Some more LotR-inspired 10mm pieces would be good— like dwarves! (Especially dwarven archers, hint, hint. Nobody has those since GW dropped the Bo5A metals line, which I believe was sculpted by the good Mr. Copplestone in the first place.)

I do like the snow trolls for his 15mm line— they have potential as giant-type creatures for 10mm. Even some of this Barbarica line could work as ogres or trolls.

Hi!

15mm Dwarves

Just added three packs of Dwarves to the 15mm Barbarica range:

Dwarf axemen

FM14 – Dwarf Axemen
FM15 – Dwarf Spearmen
FM16 – Dwarf Command

In my alternative Roman Britain, the Dwarves live in the Scottish Highlands (which are a lot more mountainous than in our reality). They are usually allied with the Northlanders in their battles against the Romans, but will never fight alongside Snowtrolls.

Kevin Dallimore's Barbarica Gallery

Kevin Dallimore has put together a gallery of his beautifully painted Barbarica miniatures.

You'll see that we've come up with distinctive color schemes for some of the tribes of Britannia: the red-haired Northlanders have dull clothes, and black shields with white designs; the Picts are pale (from living underground), with woad-painted faces; and the Marshlanders, the descendants of a once great civilization, are black-haired, darker-skinned, and dressed in red.
