As part of a six-month schedule of new 28mm miniatures to support our next release in the On Bloody Ground series of mass-combat rulebooks, here we have the first of our Achaemenid Persians!
The Sparabara are one of many iconic troop types within this fascinating period of history, and we're very excited to finally begin the design and manufacture of this miniature line, which will be fully expanded alongside our 28mm Greeks, until we have comprehensive ranges that will feature in our next rulebook: The Greco-Persian and Peloponnesian Wars, which is scheduled for release towards the end of December 2024.
