I really like the sculpts and I'm backing the kickstarter. However, my advice to you is to stick more to the occult rather than the steampunk and to keep the figures in scale with standard heroic 28mm. Steampunk over-sized Wild West has already been done by the Wild West Exodus Kickstarter and it is unlikely that people who already backed that kickstarter are going to want to back your range if you're just trying to do what they did with traditional sculpting methods. However, they did very little with vampires, undead, and the occult, so that's an opportunity for you and frankly the reason why I backed your project. The stretch goal with the Gatling guns and the sci-fi stuff however has been done before and better by WWE and provides very little incentive to contribute more for me personally. All just my opinion of course.

Announcing the Launch of CIA Games

CIA Games Logo

Chaos In Action Games is a new company producing skirmish-level miniatures wargames rulesets in a variety of fantastic worlds. CIA Games products are based on the popular and easy-to-play Goalsystem rules engine (Chaos in Carpathia, Chaos in Cairo, 2nd edition). In addition, we will be producing unique lines of miniatures for use with our publications.

CIA Games' ultimate goal is to produce skirmish-level games that are well supported. That includes not only miniatures, but complete supplements, featuring new warbands and characters, rules and scenarios.

Chaos in Cochise County rulebook

Our inaugural product, Chaos in Cochise County, is set in a supernatural version of the Old West, and features gunfighters, Indians and lawmen fighting back against vampires, werewolves and corrupt cartels of businessmen allied with dark forces beyond their control. The project will be funded through Kickstarter.

The Kickstarter is currently live here.

A 100+ page rulebook and a line of miniatures are in production, and will be further expanded with funds from our Kickstarter. In addition, funds will be allocated for building a website, allowing easy access to information on all of our games and merchandise.

For more information, you can send personal message to CIA Games here at TMP, or email me at chaosinactiongames@yahoo.com.

Future projects include new miniatures and two supplements to expand Chaos in Cochise County.

Chaos in Tombstone will feature a new line of miniatures and a book, including new scenarios, warbands and characters, including the Earp brothers, Clantons and McLaurys, Johnny Ringo and Curly Bill. New warbands include rustlers and ranchers and adventurers from south of the border, Federales and Bandidos.

Undeadwood finds the denizens of Deadwood besieged by zombie hordes and, as above, will be supported by a full line of miniatures and a rulebook, featuring mechanics for mass combat and independent opponents. Unique characters include Wild Bill Hickok, Calamity Jane, Seth Bullock, and Al Swearengen and his cronies. Warbands include Sioux war parties and miners.

CIA Games will not be concentrated solely in the Weird West. Future settings include a Gothic Horror adventure set in Europe, including characters and monsters from Victorian literature, Steampunk inventors and members of a centuries-old Secret Society. A series of scenarios takes the warbands across the breadth of 19th Century Europe, from the foggy streets of London, through the Catacombs of Paris, and across the snowy steppes of Russia.
