Supermarina I

Supermarina I

From Clash of Arms Games

While Rommel's Africa Korps was capturing the attention of the world, its fate was being decided in the Mediterranean. No matter how brilliantly the general and his troops performed, they could not win without the supplies and equipment necessary to fight.

Supermarina I portrays the struggle for naval supremacy in the Mediterranean Sea as the Allied forces tried to break the vital supply link for Axis forces in North Africa.

Containing 24 scenarios, Supermarina I runs the gamut of submarine versus convoy actions to battleships and cruisers slugging it out off Cape Teulada (Spartivento). famous battles like Taranto and Matapan are included, as well as several scenarios suitable for solitaire play.

This supplement for the Command at Sea tactical WWII miniatures game allows the player to make the kind of decisions a ship or a battlegroup commander faced in combat. Victory depends on understanding the situation and making the right choices.

This supplement uses the ships and aircraft from Mediterranean Fleets and Home Fleet.

All ships and aircraft extant from 1939 to late 1945, including several projected and/or hypothetical platforms, are also here, such as the first South Dakota (BB-49) and the P-75 Eagle. Late- or post-war platforms include the Montana and Midway classes, as well as the P-80C Shooting Star and the B-32 Dominator.
