We've recently released version 2 of our BPM WWII rules.

Version 2.0 – an improved version of the best WWII rules ever?

All you need

The new version retains the realistic and well-balanced game play of version 1. The inventory of weapon systems has been expanded, army lists for beginning of the war, the main part of the war, and the end of the war are now available, as well as collections of historical scenarios for all three periods. A campaign system and a scoring calculator have also been added. Low-priced laser-cut wood marks are also available.

The rules are designed for 15mm (1:100 scale) scale models, but there is no reason they won't work at other scales as well.

The rules cover almost all aspects of WWII land combat, including infantry, guns, artillery, armor, recce, beach landings, defenses, a wide range of terrain types, destruction of buildings, air support, and much more.

These comprehensive rules have simple mechanisms that will allow you to getting playing quickly and steadily realize the potential strategic and tactical options presented to you for game play.

Included with the rules are:

  • The rules
  • A quick reference sheet
  • Points values for a wide range of WWII weapon systems (British, French, German, Japanese, Italian, Soviet and U.S.A.)
  • Stats information for those weapon systems needed to play the game
  • A small 'getting started' scenario to help you learn the game
  • BPM standard games for casual club games or competition-style games
  • A campaign system
  • A spreadsheet to help calculate the score of a game
  • A paper copy of the markers needed to play the games (six standard game types and seven standard scenarios, giving 42 possible combinations)

Ideal for competitions games, scenario games, historical re-fights, small and large games.

Army lists and historical scenarios are also available.

Available printed and bound, or as a download.
