Hmm very interesting for we War of 1812 gamers. However, 10mm seems an odd scale when most War of 1812 figures are 28mm or 15/18mm.

Nonetheless, it seems to be a great rules product for amphibious operations for War of 1812 gamers.

Gunboat – Squadron Commander

Capitan Games Ltd are pleased to announce the launch of their Napoleonic Naval Gunboat Rules, Gunboat: Squadron Commander. The rulebook will be available to order for £25.00 GBP from our online shop in a week or so.

The beautiful 10mm scale gunboat kits (made and designed in collaboration with Laser Dream Works from the U.S.A.) and crew figures are in stock, and can also be ordered from the shop.

After the highly successful launch of the range at Salute" on 25th April, we would like to thank Southend Wargames Club for their cleverly designed and executed demonstration game, The Siege of Rosas 1808. The concept of the rules is to provide an uncomplicated, fun game which can be completed in an evening… but beware! The blood flows freely!

Next… Company Commander

Company Commander

If Napoleonic company-level semi-skirmish games are more your cup of tea (or coffee), then try Company Commander – a development of our earlier Capitan rules, but with the added facility to combine your figure bases into formed troops up to company/squadron strength.

The rules allow you to use your existing figure collection, and will work equally well with 15mm up to 28mm scales. What's more, you can obtain a "rule-blender" add-on – that allows you to combine Squadron Commander and Company Commander rules – as a free PDF file from our website. Again, the rulebook will be available to order for £20.00 GBP from our online shop in a week or so.
