Cut up a cerial packet or tissue box. Use to make hull plating and glue on.

Find some interesting gubbins from bits box or bin. Toothpaste tube lids, bits of old pens, old toys, so on. What have you. Glue on for interest.

Paint.

Play.

Why make things more complicated then they need to be?
