Claymore
The first true heavyweight ARMS produced for pre-exile warfare. Slow in comparison to more modern chassis, the Claymore was nearly indestructible in its era, a reputation that has slowly eroded as faster, heavier ARMS have been produced with far larger weaponry.

Otus uncovered the fabrication plants for these machines in the former United Isles territories, the Claymore being their staple warmachine. The original Claymore load-out, the Firebrand, was designed to maximize the destructive capacity of an ARMS, a slowly advancing wall of flame that was near-impervious to assaults. The brutal close-range casualty of the Firebrand were then supplemented by the missile barrages of the Hailstorm. Otus' own engineers eventually developed their own variant using other salvaged plans, the Taurus, a heavyweight melee fighter that excels in using ambush tactics to deliver devastating strikes with its blasting lance.
