British Air Landing Infantry 1943-45
These are depicting British Air landing troops that in terms of boots on the ground, hard fighting and casualties suffered, provided an essential element in airborne operations.
From special operations like the seizing of bridges across the Orne on D-Day to the bringing in of heavy weapons, the unsung members of the Air Landing Brigades are often overlooked and underappreciated.
The figures are depicted in the Denison smock and Bergen rucksack. In order to provide greater variety, the heads are separate. Helmeted heads and heads wearing berets are offered.
