Pictors Studio of Pictors Studio writes:

Bushy Run Battlefield will be holding our annual Games Day on August 20th this year.

The event goes from 9AM to 5PM, and will feature games from quite a variety of periods, including the Anglo-Sikh Wars, the Spanish Civil War, and the American Civil War, as well as others.

Sikhs await the British Advance

We will have food and refreshments on site, and this year we will be having a raffle.

All proceeds (including entry fees, raffle, and food sales) will benefit Bushy Run Battlefield, and will ensure that the site can stay open and continue its important educational mission.

Admission to the event is $5 USD, which is the normal price for admission to the museum, and includes tours of the museum and battlefield if you would like.

The British line prepares to fire

Bushy Run Battlefield is located in Jeannette, Pennsylvania. It is about a 45-minute drive east of Pittsburgh. It is a short drive from either the Irwin or Monroeville exits from the PA Turnpike.
