Same reaction. I too spent many, many hours playing the Infocom text games, including the Zork Trilogy.

The trademark for Zork is still live and owned by Activision, Inc., though technically it's for "Return to Zork" (1993).

It's possible that's old enough (30 years) that the whippernsappers haven't heard of it.
