Now available for purchase from the Society website, 'Alαlα! wargames rules are designed for recreating battles between Greek city states of the 5th to 4th centuries BC when the massed hoplite phalanx reigned supreme. Whilst principally designed for the Peloponnesian and Boeotian Wars, they are also suitable for battles of the period in Sicily and Italy, as well as limited extension into the Macedonian and Persian wars.
The author, Simon MacDowall, is well-known for his Comitatus rules and numerous books on ancient military history.
