Intervention: Airborne Assault Released

Back to Hobby News

BenchTest writes:

You're absolutely right. Originally airborne assault was roughly 50% helicopters and the rest divided between paratroopers and gliders. However the mechanics for paratroopers and gliders didn't quite fit with the rest of the game – they were a fun feature but were unrealistic. We simplified the rules for airborne forces and put them in the main rulebook. That just left the helicopters in airborne assault, but we kept the name without really taking into account that the content had changed.
We have now updated the name so that it is more fitting for to the content.
