Colonial War wargames subdivide the playable troops into three global categories: Regular, Irregular and Tribal.
This album contains characters to form the irregular units of the Wild West 1865-1880. These are various militias from among the new colonists and local residents.
Unlike regular U.S. Army units, irregular "bandit" units can fight on the side of Native Americans. So the "Native American" player will receive warriors with modern weapons, albeit not very disciplined.
The characters in the album are adapted for the Osprey rule system, but also work great for other systems.
