With the Kickstarter campaign for Dreadball - the new sports boardgame from Mantic Games - in full flow, I interview the designer, Jake Thornton.
We chat about how Jake started gaming, and some of his previous designs (including Dwarf Kings Hold and Project Pandora) before talking at some length about Dreadball, discussing several aspects of both the design and inspiration for the game, plus getting a basic overview of how the game mechanics work.
