Hot off the press from the success of our first Battle for Britain paper soldier series of books, we shall be releasing Battle for Britain: Wargame 1066 - Saxons, Vikings, Normans. All the troop types of the wars are represented in full-color in a format designed to create stands of soldiers which can be used to re-fight these epic struggles for the control of Britain. Although the figures can be used with any of the commercial sets of wargame rules, an introduction to wargaming and a simple set of rules by veteran wargamer Andy Callan is included, along with buildings, trees and even Viking ships to transport Harald Hardrada's men to meet their fate at Stamford Bridge.

A Viking raid party lands from their longboats

Both Saxons & Vikings standoff behind their shield walls

Saxons fall back before the Viking invader to defend their homes and stockade

William of Normandy prepares to led Norman Milites into battle

Feared Viking Longboats are seen on the horizon

Available from early October
Paperback
297mm x 210mm
48 pages
