Any chance of getting some idea of the size of these galleys? 10mm is a figure scale but it does not translate well into galley length.

Capitan Games of Studio Capitan Ltd. writes:

From our wargames laboratory, Studio Capitan have prepared the first of a new range of wargame rules that you can buy and download from our online shop. These rules will be designed for some of our miniatures ranges, and they will be provided in a "printer friendly" format, with a white background in A4 format, but with full-color illustrations and diagrams – all of that at the very affordable price of just £5.00 GBP per ruleset.

Our first ruleset for download is Trireme Commander.

Trireme Commander

Trireme Commander is a game of tactical naval combat, focused on the simulation of combat between small fleets of galleys, rather than great naval engagements. The objective of the simulation is combat between a few galleys in situations such as combat patrol, merchant escort, counter-piracy actions and pirate assaults, etc.

Trireme Commander

Designed for our 10mm Ancient Galleys and miniatures range, where you will find:

  • Galleys: Hemiola (small coastal galley), Biremes & Triremes
  • Crews, Sailors, Warriors, Slingers, Archers, and Officers for Roman, Carthaginian, Macedonian, Syracussan, and Mediterranean Pirates

In this first release, we will focus on the Punic Wars (264 BC to 146 BC), between Rome and its allies, and Carthage and its allies.
