We don't usually do this, but since one book is almost ready to go to print, and the second will follow soon after, we thought, why not!

The news is that we have two new books coming for On Bloody Ground – The world's best (proof pending!) 28mm mass-combat wargame!

Due for release at the end of June/early July is Alexander's Successors 281-47BC.

On Bloody Ground: Alexander's Successors 281-47BC

And then due out at the end of July/early August is The Italian Wars.

On Bloody Ground: The Italian Wars

On Bloody Ground uses primarily 28mm miniatures, based individually on movement trays. This makes it easy for players to recognize the current state of each unit in a battle, but also allows great flexibility with scale and basing options.

The core rules of the game are consistent throughout each of our books, so once you know the basic game, it's very easy to drop into a new period of history at any time.

Our command-and-orders rules give both players the options that commanders might have during the heat of battle, to make an on-the-spot decision. This creates a very dynamic game, with many options to act and react according to the opportunities that present themselves!

Each book has comprehensive army lists, as well as a combination of special rules and keywords that provide an immersive experience, and realistic feel for the period of history being played.

Why not come along to our constantly growing Facebook Group to see what other wargamers are saying about OBG.

If you want to have fun with your gaming buddies, get some toys on the table, and feel the excitement of a game that has exciting, commonsense rules, come and try On Bloody Ground!
