Invasion of the Arizona Territory

My interest in the American Civil War started when I was a young lad, and have found it a fascinating conflict, rich with history and legends.

One thing that I have found interesting are the smaller conflicts in the outlying areas. When I watched the movie, The Good, the Bad and the Ugly and they made reference to Sibley and his army, that sparked an interest.

So what is this? Well, it is a series of ideas that could be modified to suit any set of American Civil War rules from 6mm to 28mm.

Invasion of the Arizona Territory takes up the California Column's invasion of the Arizona and New Mexico Territories in 1862 during the Civil War. Included scenarios are:

Scenario 1 – Engagement at Stanwix Station – 30th March 1862

Scenario 2 – Battle of Picacho Pass—13th April 1862

Scenario 3 — Battle of Tucson—20th May 1862 ('what if' scenario)

So as you can see, not many scenarios, but if you brought in the Apache as a third force, what a great little campaign you could make out of this with three forces playing!
