Awesome! One thing I would maybe add. For every LMG firing in the group, add 1 Shock die. I don't think the effect that LMG's have in fire and maneuver are represented well in most rule sets, so this would be a bonus in my book. Or, at least, something along these lines.

It's looking good!

Wargame Vault announces the availability of:

FiveCore Platoon Command Alpha draft
Price: Free

Publisher: Nordic Weasel Games

This is the alpha version of FiveCore: Platoon Commander.

Currently, it is a test platform to try out new rules concepts adapting the FiveCore skirmish rules to battles with 30 to 40 figures per side.

This is not a complete game and is not playable on its own.

You will require ownership of an existing FiveCore skirmish set already (1st edition, 3rd edition, Five Men in Normandy, Five Men at Kursk).

The alpha draft assumes that players will fill in any gaps themselves. It contains no scenario, campaign or army creation material.

It is made available so players can take the new mechanics for a spin, test if they are indeed workable, and give their input and feedback.
