This was to be a short story numbering only a few pages and highlighting a few aspects of gameplay. As time progressed, I began to resonate more with the characters, and this novella which the original conceit developed into fills my heart with pride and joy. I truly hope you enjoy this tale.

At the center of the coastal city of Therantyr lies a colossal amphitheater – the Therantyne Imperial Colloquy – known as the Pit. The best combatants throughout the known world flock to make their names in one of the Pit's Delves – dug-outs rented out to Pit-Bosses. A fighter's dream is to take part in combat before the baying thousands who attend the spectacles taking place at this theater.
Titan's Vow is a game for two or more players. You take on the role of a Pit Boss, and it is your job to manage your fighters, your facilities, and the reputation of your Delve. Use any means at your disposal to climb to the top, for the world of mortal entertainment may be as cutthroat as it is glorious.
In addition to this rulebook, you will need two six-sided dice (2d6), notepaper (or a word processing document), a space to play, a representation printable Battle-Mat (included with the download for this rulebook), and counters or miniatures to represent combatants. Digital and printable Delve Management and Fighter Sheets are also included with the download for this rulebook.
The Battle-Mat is set for the 28mm scale of miniatures. You may use any fantasy or historical/ancient/medieval themed miniatures, from any range. There is no need to represent specific weapons or armor possessed by a combatant – the miniature may instead represent a snapshot of the combatant in time. You may of course choose to model each combatant accurately, with specific decals and color code. The choice is yours. There are many stunning ranges of miniatures out there, and a wide variety of such were used during the play-testing of this game.
Species and gender are purely an aesthetic choice within Titan's Vow, and do not impact play in any way.
This rulebook has been produced to combine a love of tactical strategy gaming, the pursuit of realistic combat, along with the management and upgrade aspects of roleplay gaming.
Titan's Vow may be used to simulate combat over a series of games, and there is scope to arrange your own tournaments and indeed leagues for a large number of players. I sincerely hope that Titan's Vow allows for hours of entertainment.
