Black Terror

An STL file representing the decoy "ironclad" dubbed the Black Terror. It was built on a coal barge to resemble a Union ironclad, and used to confuse the Confederate forces salvaging the U.S.S Indianola at Davis Bend in February 1863. The ruse worked and Indianola was abandoned.

The model is scaled to 1:600, and prints well at 1:1200.
