Good Ground will soon add Confederate cavalry and mounted command to the Cracker Line range. The figures will all have shotguns and pistols, with the officer carrying a sheathed sword. The officer will wear a double-breasted shell, and have a full beard to give him that truly jaunty, dashing, southern cavalry-officer look.
We shall also be adding our mounted horse holders this month. The figure will come in slouch hat or forage cap. There will be some minor variants to the horse holder.
Plank Road also has a horse holder, who is not mounted. This will give the 10mm gamer some variety from which to choose. Fire & Fury requires the horse holder in both its classic Brigade and the new Regimental rules.
Already available on the site is the U.S. Mounted Cavalry (ACWUS17) and Mounted Command (ACWUS1).
We have also added a new pack under the Cracker Line link, called Army High Command (ACWUS2), which features one of each of the six variants of mounted infantry officers, from both Plank Road and Cracker Line, along with a mounted standardbearer and bugler. Also included in the pack is one U.S. and one C.S. army or corps command flag.
All of these figure packs will be available later this month at HMGS Hurricon.
