Bolt Action players rejoice! – Hot-on-the-heels of the recent New Guinea and Operation Sea Lion campaign books, our focus now shifts to the very heart of the German war machine, as we ready ourselves for The Road to Berlin.

Bolt Action: The Road to Berlin

The Road to Berlin covers not only the arduous operations which both the German and the Soviet forces endured, but also some lesser-known elements of the fighting in '44, such as the uprising of the Polish AK and Czech forces.

In June 1944, the Axis powers in Europe were about to be subjected to two major hammer blows. In the west, the final preparations were being made for Operation Overlord – the Allied invasion of Western Europe.

Whilst in the east, the Red Army was planning a massive offensive, with bold objectives to critically damage the German Army and eject it entirely from Soviet soil, and to keep pushing until the Red Army found themselves amid the streets of Berlin ushering in the final collapse of the Third Reich.

Whilst spirits began to rise amongst the Soviet troops… the sense of fatalism began to spread like a disease amongst the German forces.

After months of crushing defeats, encirclements, and mass capitulations, the Germans were finally revealed to be beatable and their aura of invincibility had been ripped aside.

The Road to Berlin contains 148 pages of detailed text, breathtaking imagery and full-color art…as well as a whole host of new units, characters, scenarios, theater selectors, and much more gaming content!
