These are alternative army lists for the Dominion of the Spear solo wargames rules and game. The unreliable attribute has been used to model most light infantry and some light cavalry, as well as to model levy troops and unreliable allies. So 1x Spearmen meant to represent javelin-armed skirmishers becomes 1x unreliable Javelinmen for the cost of 1 point instead of 2 points. This does not mean that these light troops are unreliable in the literal sense of the word, but that their behavior on the battlefield as light troops is being modeled by giving them the unreliable attribute. Light infantry now fulfill their battlefield role of deploying at the front to delay and soften up their opponents, and levy infantry often deployed at the rear may or may not fight once brought to battle. This makes many armies one or more units larger, allowing for more choice in deployment and in replacing defeated units. The extra one point saved by making a unit unreliable also allows for more nuanced modelling elsewhere. I have taken the opportunity of looking at all the army lists and revising them where appropriate so almost all the army lists change, even if it is just 1x Archers becoming 2x unreliable Archers.

Sumerian (Warring city states in Iraq): 2x unreliable elite armored Chariots (battle carts), 3x Spearmen, 1x unreliable Javelinmen (Nim), 1x unreliable Slingers
Old & Middle Kingdom Egyptian (Civilization on the River Nile, built the Great Pyramids): 1x elite Axemen (Menfat), 2x Archers, 2x Spearmen (conscripts), 1x unreliable Javelinmen.
Fatimid Egyptian (Descended from Prophet's daughter Fatima, large empire centered on Cairo): 2x Cavalry (lancers), 2x unreliable Cavalry (Berber and Bedouin light cavalry), 1x armored Spearmen (massed Abid), 1x Archers, 1x unreliable Archers.
War of the Roses English (Yorkists and Lancastrians fought over England, Henry Tudor won): 1x elite armored Billmen (men-at-arms and retinue with bills and polearms), 1x armored Billmen, 1x unreliable armored Billmen (potentially treacherous), 3x unreliable Longbowmen
