Gavin Syme GBS Sponsoring Member of TMP of Alternative Armies writes:

Late to appear to Humanity and so far only in the tropical regions around the Waltharan Reactor Complex, which supplies power to a distant Pelacan and other cities on Camarthen Prime, the Saurad were an unwelcome surprise. Stalking out of the thick and generally unexplored jungles and attacking the Planetary Militia stationed at Watharan with a savage ferocity. Reports back to the besieged capital of the planet by the hot climes soldiers spoke of what could only be described as humanoid lizards. Lizardmen with the weapons of Khanate Legionaries!

Saurads are vicious and will eat Human flesh if given a chance. Roughly the size of a man, they have rough scaly hides, and are not known for tactics or anything other than brute force. So far, none have been taken alive or examined in detail, due to combat in a remote location. While making use of Legion equipment, Saurads are tribal and do not take orders well from other races, though they do work with Maligs… but this can often lead to a consuming level of interaction.

Saurad Lizardmen

The big release for the Spring Mega Event (on until 6th May, 20% off all orders, and free Warbot IV) is here for the 15mm Ion Age range. We are tackling the warmer places across the Prydian Precinct now (having covered Cold Climes and Beotan Werewolves), and nothing is hotter than the Saurads. Viciously savage, cold-blooded warriors of the Shia Khan Empire.

There are 33 new 15mm poses. A Saurad is slightly taller than a Human, but is much thicker-limbed and stronger. Each is about 19mm standing. Four pack codes (pack or choose singles on that page), and a Platoon Pack with free extra unique Saurad Tracker, kneeling with sword.

Saurad size comparison

Above is a scale shot showing a Saurad, along with a Pertinax Space Dwarf, a Prydian Grima Combat Robot, and a Psycoborg Robot.

Pertinax Ordos

The Pertinax are very valuable to the Khanate, compared to the expendable Malig Space Goblins and the primitive races, as they take care of the technical roles such as weapon maintenance, and vehicles such as Assault Orbs, Canno, and Pugnus tanks.

Shia Khan Empire - Client Races

The client races of the Shia Khan Empire, arrayed as best as battlefield capture has allowed for the Retained Knights of the Prydian Army. All are present in the 15mm Ion Age range of miniatures. If you would like this picture as a poster, just ask us.
