Artizan Designs have a sub-range called Midnight Workshop where Mike Owen fits those figures he wants to make but aren't historical.

The latest four are VSF figures.

Two of the figures are Night Watchmen, one is a member of the London Underworld, and the last but not least is the towering Professor Phineas of the Infernal Embassy.

All the Midnight Workshop miniatures are 28mm-sized, made of metal, and supplied unpainted.

The painted examples here were done by Paul Cubbin.
