Federales

No longer will you need to repurpose Soldatos from the Pershing Expedition or Maximillian ranges. These wonderful gems are designed specifically for the late 1870s through 1890s, and are taken directly from the artwork of none other than Frederick Remington. Remington spent two months on assignment for Harper's Weekly in Mexico in the 1880s.

Rob Baker sculpted this extensive line of Federal infantry as they appeared on campaign. All types are represented with plenty of officers, NCOs and musicians to spice up your units.

Pontoonier has also partnered with Flags of War to bring you not one, but two variant Mexican flags carried in the field.

During this period, the Mexican Federal Army or "Federales" faced off against Ex-Confederate raiders who refused to quit, wayward U.S. patrols. Apaches, Comanches, Comancheros, peon uprisings, warlords, civil wars, outlaws, banditos, and a decades long conflict with the Yaqui.

Much, much more to come, so watch this space!
