Cool, turns out there are multiple sources for these in 28mm: Warlord and Coveted Forge (Etsy – Kyoushuneko minis design) have the GAZ-98, you can find the NKL-16 also on Etsy (3dPrintingValleyLtd) and the massive and seldom used but very cool looking SKB-50 Aerosan-02SS with a 23mm autocannon turret (BrrrrrGoesthePrinter).

Must…stop…clicking…on…buying Aerosans!!!!

Red Army Aerosan Attack!
Engines howling, the Soviet aerosans sped over the frozen ice of Lake Ilmen under the cover of darkness to scout and disorient German positions for the main attack.

A campaign book for the Nuts! WWII skirmish tabletop wargame system, intended for squad- to platoon-level games that put you in command of Soviet winter raiders mounted on aerosans – lightweight, propeller-driven sleds built to glide over deep snow where conventional vehicles struggle.

Aerosan units saw action in reconnaissance, supply runs, and rapid raids, using speed and surprise to outmaneuver the enemy. This book focuses on those operations in the harsh winter conditions of the Eastern Front – where frozen lakes, blizzards, and white-out terrain become as dangerous as the opposing force.
