I was already going to get these but now that they can be made into the LRDG I am hooked.

I am now eagerly awaiting the DAK.

Just to let you know that Terry and his team at Renedra have come up trumps again with the plastic Desert Rats. All tooling is now complete, and boxes and leaflets will be printed by next week, so if you are coming to Salute, you could pick them up then from our stand TE 16. If not, you can pre-order (just place the order as normal), as we will be shipping them out to customers as soon as we can the following week.

We received the first test shots of the main infantry frame (pictured) last week, and couldn't help putting a few together. The actual finished frames will be in a tan-colored plastic, as will be the bases supplied in the box. A complete platoon can be put together from the box, with HQ section (not pictured). As you can see, there are also 18 heads with Arab headdresses and cap comforters, that you can use to convert the figures into SAS or Long Range Desert Group.

There are 38 figures, 32 20mm circular bases, four 40mm square (for support teams), plus notes on platoon organization in the box. The figures are hard-plastic and 28mm tall. They're intended for gaming in the Western Desert, Sicily, and around the Mediterranean, as well as potentially Burma in 1942.

The plastic Afrikakorps are in tooling next, and in the meantime, the first of the WWII Italian metal codes will be available very shortly. There should also be a couple of related surprises on our stand at Salute as well, and one or two unrelated 'three-ups'.

The code is WW 1 (yes, I know, it's a bit odd!), and the price is £18.00 GBP plus P&P.
