STL (3D Model) – $3.00 USD

Ansaldo SVA 10

This is an STL file for your 3Dprinter of the Italian WWI aircraft Ansaldo SVA 10.

The Ansaldo SVA 10 was a two-seat variant of the highly successful Ansaldo SVA 5.

Like her source aircraft, the SVA 10 was very fast, and at a top speed of 137mph was only 6 mph slower than the single-seat original. Like the other variants, this speed enabled the SVA 10 to fly with impunity over the Italian front.

She was used as a recon aircraft and light bomber, and was part of the propaganda coup known as the Vienna Raid, where a mixed group of SVA single- and two-seaters flew over the Austrian capital, dropping leaflets explaining to the populace that the paper in their hands could very well have been bombs rather than future toilet paper, and that they should stop fighting and go make some Sacher cake and coffee instead.

The model is scaled at 1:100th, but may be printed successfully at smaller or even larger scales (though with a corresponding loss of detail) depending on the quality of the printer and type of material.

The download also contains a 1:285 scale version.
