DGS Games recently launched their first Kickstarter project – the 'Urdaggar Tribes of Valor Fantasy Miniatures'.

DGS is seeking $5,000 USD for production of six 32-millimeter metal figures in support of their Freeblades skirmish game. For those unfamiliar with Kickstarter, it is a crowd-sourcing website that helps small companies obtain capital to get projects started and business ideas launched.
The general Kickstarter premise is that multiple small pledges of support, in exchange for rewards, can add up to enough capital – and sometimes a lot – of capital, that enables a small company to get their project off the ground.
DGS' Urdaggar project has some of the usual rewards of various individual figures, T-shirts, and sets of figures. The project also offers to have a backer's likeness sculpted onto one of their miniatures – something you don't see offered every day!
The six Urdaggar miniatures they seek your support to produce are: Wolfkarl, Berserker, Night Hunter, Slinger, Hunter and Unproven. All of the different rewards will get you the miniatures for less than the normal retail price of DGS figures.
This Kickstarter project is 30 days in length, and ends September 16th.
