Fulda Gap! 11ACR 12Pz & 8GD & the Fulda Gap 1984

The 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment with its brand-new M2A1 and M3A1 Bradley Infantry Fighting Vehicles and M1A1 Abrams Tanks punches well above its weight with its organic mortars (M-125 81mm on M113 tracks), artillery in the form of M110 8" and M109A1 155mm, as well as air support in the form of the AH-64 Apache, OH-58 Kiowa, and UH-60A1 Blackhawk, acts as a tripwire force to slow and harass the Soviet steamroller. The West German 12th Panzer Division assist in the 11th ACR Area of Operations with their Leopard 1A4 and Leopard 2A1 tanks, Marder IFVs, and their Territorial Battalions in their Fuchs 4 x 4's. Opposing them is the 8th Guards Armor with their brand-new T-80U and upgraded T-55AM tanks, BTR-80s and their BMP-2s and lashing of artillery! Can the 11th ACR stop the Soviet advance long enough for the 3rd Armor to deploy to their war-fighting positions and for Reforger to get underway? Or will the 11th ACR just be a speed bump on the Soviets' rush to the Rhine?

Included are six brand-new scenarios, as well as special rules and lots of new equipment and options, including air support like the fabulous F-16 and the Tornado IDS, as well as the Mil-8 Hip gunship, Mil-4 observation, and the Alouette III.

With this book, you can fight the first battle in the next war in the Fulda Gap.

Other gaps are available such as HOTH, but who wants to mess with all of those AT-AT?
