Bukit Chandu – Iron Cross Scenario

A new game scenario for Iron Cross wargame! (Compatible with both editions!)

Bukit Chandu, February 14, Singapore

On the morning of 14 February, the Japanese launched a strong attack at 8:30AM, supported by intense mortar and artillery fire, a position held by the 1st Malay Brigade. The defenders repelled this and several other attacks, including hand-to-hand combat, and the losses on both sides were heavy. At 16:00, a tank-backed attack eventually managed to penetrate the left, and the defenders on this flank were forced back to a line from the junction of Ayer Rajah and Depot Road through the Brick Works and along the canal to Bukit Chermin. At 14:30, Company C of the Malay Regiment received instructions to move to a new defensive position, Bukit Chandu. There would be the final defense against the fierce enemy.
