Celtos Getting a Makeover

I'd say the best thing to do is keep both available, even if one is only digital, and give new miniatures stats for each version of the game. Or, I could be wrong.

That's the idea, the older version of rules won't be going away, and any new figures will get stats for both incarnations of the rules. There are still quite a few copies of the rulebook remaining, and when they run out we'll go to PDF.

Brigade Models has announced a makeover in progress for their Celtos fantasy rules and product line.

"It's moving to a unit-based game," says Tony Francis, "since we felt that the game engine as it stood couldn't handle very large games."

The new ruleset is expected in late spring or early summer of 2013, and progress reports can be seen on their blog.

"We also have new models being sculpted," says Tony, "although we're keeping those under wraps for now."
