Some more great minis, from a company which moved me entirely from 28mm sci-fi gaming into 15mm. I need to get some Control Battalion reinforcements in order to finally quash those rebels on Arcticus 4.

We're very pleased to release the second wave of models for our popular Control Battalions, the sinister transhuman creatures whose helmets are bolted on permanently, for reasons best not discussed in polite company.

Second wave of Control Battalion releases

This release has three new codes to expand poses and troop types.

Control Battalion Riflethings

First up, we have a set of infantry which serves as the booster pack for the two original sets, containing eight riflethings in four poses – two new poses with the pulse rifle, a new standing firing pose with the Squad Assault Pulser (basically a SAW), and a pose with the RAM-propelled grenade-launcher.

Control Battalion Mortar team

Lending the riflethings mobile light artillery support are the Control Mortarthings with a medium infantry mortar. The pack has two mortar teams with their weapons.

Control Battalion Tankers

Finally, we have a set of Control tanker halves. The Battalions field a motley fleet of armored vehicles, ranging from legacy Federal vehicles (only a few left running, most being cannibalized for parts), an assortment of MDMS tanks and APCs, and – first and foremost – refurbished Nova Respublik Red Banner and Yozhik armored vehicles, seized on a thousand battlefields and now in ubiquitous use with oppressive regimes. These halves should drop straight into the Yozhik and Red Banner hatches, and (perhaps with some minor modification) should fit into most other 15mm vehicle hatches.

So oppress the Resistance today! Models were painted by Chris Yaro and are available now. Happy gaming.
