YAGRAG is a sourcebook (with detailed data for the (free!) QILS gaming system) that lets you save (or destroy) the world in a science-fiction setting populated by giant robots… well… and more giant robots! There are regular military forces and aliens, too, just in case your giant robots need to practice beating up on things.
The game is set for two players with 2-3" tall robots and 6-10mm scale human forces, and will play on a reasonable-size dinner table, with one- to two-hour scenarios along the larger story arc. There is also a variant to the rules for 2-3" robots ruling a post-apocalyptic world populated by 28mm human freedom fighters.
The book includes:
- force stats for QILS and guides for the relative strength of units to help porting to another system
- 19 one- to two-hour scenarios that support a main story arc, an alternate story arc, an alternate (postapocalyptic) story, and one-off battles
- 2D and 3D terrain templates for all the setups described in the scenarios
- two print-and-fold giant robot templates – not the most detailed ones (there are better robots on Wargame Vault), but also not requiring a master's degree in origami – for easy supplements to your forces
- All that prepped in the background so that the game still plays fast and furious
